There are many different types of trips between Luxor & Oasis, the following are some guidelines program for these trips.

                                              Luxor-Kharga (Oum Dabadeb)
                                                    Two days

The First day:

In the morning you will drive to Kharga. You will take the 4x4 Jeep north to Oum Dabadeb. From there you will enjoy off-road driving through the desert and the sand dunes for about 89 kilometers on the way to the campsite in Oum Dabadeb, also referred to as “the lost city”! There you will see the ancient tombs and the trapezoidal towers the town is famous for.

The second day:

In the morning you will drive back to Kharga. There you will visit Bagawat Cemetery from the Christian period, also home to the oldest church in Egypt. Then you will leave the oasis and head back to Luxor.

                                                                   Three days
                              (Luxor-Kharga-Dakhla-Frafra-White Desert)

 

The first day:

Leave Luxor At 6:00 am heading to Kharga. Breakfast in the desert, and then visit Bagawat (old Christian necropolis) in Kharga. Continue to Dakhla. Stop by the Beshandi village on the way to visit tomb of Kitnes from the Greco-Roman period, and the mausoleum of Beshandi (dating to early Islamic Caliphate). Arrive in Bir El-Gabal in the afternoon and enjoy bathing in the mountain's fountain.

The second day:

Visit Al-Qasr town, the oldest inhabited Islamic town in Egypt, and the tombs of Mouzawaqa. Drive to Frafra, visit the Badr Museum (contemporary art museum). Continue to the White Desert, where you will have BBQ dinner and stay overnight under the starry sky of the desert.

The third day: 

Drive back to Luxor.

                                                          seven days six nights (Camels)
                                                 Luxor-Kharga-Dakhla  

 

The first day:

Drive from Luxor to Dakhla passing by Kharga with a normal 2WD car stop by Kharga to visit Bagawat (Coptic necropolises), then continue driving to Dakhla and have the first night in Ber Al-Gabal camp because any way we will arrive late to have the camels right away so we will have to sleep overnight in a hotel and it’s so nice hotel surrounded by mountains and green fields.

The second day: 

in the morning we will have the car to get to the starting point beside Deir El Hagar temple which about 30 KMs away from the hotel after meeting the camels we will be moving towards the big sand dunes area passing it and enjoying it's beautiful and different shapes, then arriving to lunch point which is in an oasis in the edge of the desert and having lunch under a huge green tree beside sand dunes then moving to the camping point  passing sand dunes area again but in different way and different landscapes, arriving to camping point under the biggest sand dune all over the area and having dinner

The third day:

After having breakfast we will ride the camels towards the red valley (al Wadi al Ahmar) and have lunch there, then continue riding through Naqb al Gara (the hill passage) and walking in the turtles desert (Sahara al Salahef) and arriving to the great sands lake and camping there and camping there and having dinner.

The fourth day:

After having breakfast, going deeply in the great sands lake area and it's totally different than the first day and having lunch and moving to the camping point passing the small white desert which is in the west of the great sands lake and camping beside a big sand dune.

The fifth day:

Ride the camels through sands lake area in the direction of beir13 village which is inhabited by Bedouins, and having lunch near to the village and a hot bath the in a hot spring there, then moving to the camping point.

The sixth day:

Moving to Sweillah Mountain and having lunch under it then continue going in the valleys of that mountain which have different shapes of rocks forms and camp there.

The seventh day:

Ride the camels around Sweillah Mountain in a different area and in the black valleys and having lunch there then moving towards the main road to meet the car that will take us back to Luxor.

NOTICE:

**all the names of the areas, valleys and mountains are Bedouin names, so they are not mentioned in the official maps.
**all guides will be Bedouins.
**the program will contain Bedouin food, dance and Bedouin music.
**Bedouins will make very special Bedouin bread for meals.               
**if you want to make this program for more than 6 days, it’s ok it can be done, it even if it's 2 weeks.
