UNESCO thanked Egypt for its "great" efforts to develop Luxor

UNESCO sent their thanks to the Egyptian government for its efforts to develop the city of Luxor, which consider one of the  most important world heritage sites and what is being implemented on its territory from development projects designed to be converted into  the biggest open museum in the world.
As a  reopening of al-Kabash and the development of  Luxor Temple Square and the Temple of Karnak Square  and transfer Population of  Qurnah village at  the west bank  to preserve the ancient tombs.
This came to the conclusion of the annual meeting  of the World Heritage city on Quebec city in Canada which  attended by more than 1200 participants from among the Ministers of  Culture , Heritage, Tourism and the ambassadors of the world's UNESCO with the Antiquities ,heritage experts and advisers, diplomats and representatives  from different world countries
The Egyptian delegation at the conference included Dr. / Ali Radwan representative of  Egypt at UNESCO, Dr. / Sabri Abdul Aziz Sector Chairman of the Egyptian Antiquities Sector
, Dr. / Geyhan zaki director of Foreign Cultural Relations on  the Supreme Council of Antiquities,
Dr / Sadia Qenawi Egyptian ambassador at  UNESCO announced that the  all of those present  the Egyptian delegation  presented the different axes  of  all projects that were implemented at the Luxor master plan  from those present at the conference expressed their Appreciation and admiration for the project in Luxor and Demands
That all archeological  and heritage sites in the world have a master plan like the one in Luxor and to Repetition the Egyptian experience in the development of Luxor
Dr / Samir Faraj the President of the Supreme Council of Luxor, Commented that these projects have been implemented within the overall development plan projects for the development of Luxor, carried out by a scientific study on building a futuristic vision sustained till  2030 in cooperation with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and with the participation of all concerned with culture, heritage and tourism in Egypt.
