since it includes antiques shops that sell antiques and gift products from Khan El-Khalili, which is demanded by tourists as well as significantly Shops selling statues of  Pharaonic replicas, which is famous at  Qurnah area in mainland western Luxor, products and handicrafts from carpets and Clem and Alabaster as well as shops selling perfumes and spices, beans and hibiscus, Sudanese and Egyptian Municipal henna.

19 Million pounds to develop Tourist Street Market in Luxor

Within working on the Master plan for the development of Luxor city to become the biggest open museum in the world, and to develop touristic trade zones.

 Work on major project to develop tourist Street Market was completed, one of the oldest and most important street located in the heart of Luxor,  in the main tourist area in the centre  between Temple of Luxor and railway station.

Tourists and in harmony with the cultural and artistic form that is currently working in the city.

The architectural  work on the street turned it into a technical impressive masterpiece

The investment budget for street development -with a length of 1950 meters- is nineteen million pounds, this development includes street landscaping,  Main gates redesign to PHARAONIC style using reinforced concrete, the front gates of the side streets overlook the Temple of Luxor and Abu el-Haggag mosque plaza. Also all the street facilities are from a sanitary drainage, electricity, water and telephone have been renovated.

The characteristic of decorative shops were preparing lighting plates of uniform style for all shops, to standardize the pattern of  lighting . with printed concrete floors until show the wonderful work on the street, and made a wooden chivalry and providing all shops with modern banner with a nature historic painting ,developing and painting all the facades of existing buildings and shops .
